August 22 This is soooo CoolI was surfing around on MSN spaces and came across ♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥муѕтι¢єуєѕ нανєи♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥ from there I then saw a link
... click here -> Molecular Expressions ... watch the presentation after you click on that link.
It made me feel extra small and then it made me feel extra large. Gave me some perspective as to where we all are... well atleast a little anyways. August 09 Windows XP - Good news for MSN SpacesSo I finally broke down and installed XP. Seems to work best with these spaces. I was freezing up alot with Windows ME and Win 98. Now I can get around to your blogs more often. Windows 2000 seems to work great also. I made my daughter happy by installing a 'legal' copy of XP on her computer aswell. I totally rebuilt her 6 year old computer from scratch and got her a 19" flat screen monitor to go with it
July 31 Lockdown in BlogsvilleAnyone else having problems with their computer freezing up after visiting just a handful of Msn Spaces out there?
Seems I totally freeze up even after deleting cookies and temporary internet files after each visit and I don't keep more than one space open at a time. I have a firewall and antivirus protection and a few adware detection tools and Registry Mechanic and I often run Disk Defrag. I'm running Windows ME which BTW works just fine with everything else. Maybe it's lack of RAM? I am using an 866mhz Pentium III processor with 382 mgs of Ram. I've been told that adding more RAM to this size processor would'nt make much difference. It's been a pain when it totally LOCKS up and I have to turn the machine off by holding the on/off button in for 3 seconds and then starting over again with the scan disk for errors programs. It fixes the problem till I go back and try and view more spaces. I would love to be able to visit and comment on many more spaces more often.
If anyone has a solution for me besides buying a new computer ( lol ) I would sure appreciate it. Oh and btw ....I have totally formatted and reinstalled the system many times before to get rid of all the adwares that get past the detection tools and still seem to have the same symtoms as mentioned above.
Thanks,
Jim
p.s. Does anyone know what the HP bin file 'rameo.exe' actually does? |
